Shiseido, L’Oreal, Under Armour, and Adidas expand into emerging markets with Retail Pro®
Despite recent economic downturns in various regions worldwide, retailers are investing and expanding into emerging markets.
Shiseido chose Retail Pro for their Malaysian market in 2014 and for the Indonesian market in 2015 because of its rapid deployment, user-friendliness, robust back office tools, and offline capabilities –critical for markets with underdeveloped infrastructure.
L’Oreal, opening 70+ stores in Indonesia, chose Retail Pro over Cegid for its strong global support and robust functionality.
Under Armour is rapidly expanding in Latin America, Asia Pacific, Australia, Russia, and South Africa. After a positive experience with the Retail Pro in Latin America, Under Armour launched Retail Pro in China with 40 stores and 200 franchises. Under Armour chose Retail Pro for its strong global presence, dedicated relationship with the brand, and the software’s integration to SAP B1. Retail Pro International has over 50 customers in 7 Latin America countries connected with both versions of SAP, supporting 1,500+ stores and 2,600+ POS implementations.
Adidas added franchises in Myanmar, continuing to leverage Retail Pro for its balance between corporate control over subsidiary reporting and franchisee flexibility. Retail Pro International entered Myanmar, its 100th country, specifically to support this franchise expansion for Adidas.
